Something Great

Finally, I have the time to update this fashion blog! School's been crazzyy & I'm glad it's coming to an end! Just one more test and project and I will have crossed the finish line ! :)

It hasn't been all work and no play for me though. A couple of weeks ago, I was in charge of a fashion photoshoot for a teen magazine here in the Philippines. I swear, I had so much fun!! It was tiring but I knew it was something I would be willing to do again and again and again.. :) Here's a sneak preview of what we did:

Recreating a Flapper look

Recreating a Hippie Look

Okay, I don't know why the quality of my pictures suck. Haha! Anyway, thanks to Sab Anupol for being our model! And credit goes to the stores we pulled out from! Will let you know when the issue comes out. x
Can't wait for Wednesday! I think the Rebels are going to have a date! :)

MJ is my savior

I just recently came back from my trip to Macau and it was ok. This highlight of my trip however is my latest find. As I was going around the shoppes at the Four Seasons in Macau, I decided to enter the store of Marc Jacobs. I don't really like the brand Marc by Marc Jacobs or simply Marc Jacobs because I find him a little to hip for my taste but I soon learned to give other people (or in this case, other brand) a try. I have found a new love...Marc by Marc Jacobs bags. You can't deny that he is a very talented man that creates fresh and modern pieces for any fashionista. No wonder he is also the head designer for one of the leading fashion labels- Louis Vuitton. Here are some of my favorite pieces out of his Fall '09 collection...
What I love most about the collection is the mix of the pale pastel colors, to the bold and bright funky colors. Everyone from the minimalist to the wild one can find a bag that is perfect for them. I particularly like the yellow bag on the lower left side of the 2nd picture because I have it in fuschia. HAHA.

rebel date

After not seeing each other for such a looong time, the rebels were finally reunited. We grabbed lunch in Cafe Xocolat instead of Banapple because it is nearer and because Eyeshadow and I had to catch our guidance interview. As usual, the food in Xocolat was ah-may-zing although I didn't like their churros. It tasted like wax paper for me. (Sorry but nothing beats the churros of Dulcinea.) After grabbing something to eat, we went back to school and found some shooking and earth-shatering news! Seriously. Seriously! Good thing the rebels were there and we had an impromptu fashion pictorial that truly made my day. I lalalalove the rebels!!
It was really great to see everybody together before we all had to go our seperate ways. Eyeshadow went to America. I went to Boracay then Macau and Bronzer is busy with school. My summer class just started now though so I now know what Bronzer feels. I miss us all! Another date, yes?
